Condolences
My deepest sympathies go out to Mr. Mugleston’s family. I well remember his teaching of Mathematics 31 at Father Lacombe High School in 1989. He was a fantastic teacher who instilled in me a love of learning for which I shall always be grateful
Dear Linda,
Karen and I are very sad to find out about Jim’s passing. We live across from you and had no idea until today. We would like to express our sincere sadness and we did enjoy our conversations over the fence.
Dear Linda, Anita and I were saddened by the sudden passing of your beloved husband Jim. Anita worked With Jim at St. Rose and I knew Jim well over the years. He was a very nice man. We send you and your family our deepest sympathies.
With our prayers,
John and Anita Cleary.
Dear Linda:
John Duthie informed me of your husband’s passing and I offer my sincere condolences to you and your family. When John and I discuss “the good old days” in Ralston, Jim is one of the people we remember, as a wise, kind and gentle person. From the many messages on this site, I see that he was a loved and respected member of the Calgary community. My prayers are with you at this difficult time,
Jim Bobyn in Montreal
Dear Linda and family,
Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers as you mourn the loss of a wonderful man. I had the honor of working with Jim at Bishop Carroll High School for several years until his retirement. He was gentle, thoughtful, cared deeply for his students and colleagues, loved his family, abhored injustice, and delighted in a good story or practical joke. The twinkle in his eyes was a permanent feature, one that could immediately brighten your day. I hope that your memories of Jim give you comfort. May the gentle embrace of God ease your sadness.
With prayer and Blessings… Barb
Jim was truly a wonderful man. He mentored me when I first began teaching at Bishop Carroll, and kept me on the right track. His wonderful, sly sense of humour kept a smile on my face.
My deepest condolences to you all.

Linda,
I was so sorry to read the death of your husband, Jim. My thoughts and prayers are with you.
Dear Linda and Family,
I had the great pleasure of working with Jim way back in I think about 1979 when St. Rose of Lima first opened. He was such a character I always looked forward to coming to work and taking part in some pre-classroom banter. I can hardly imagine the loss you are feeling today. My prayers and thoughts are with you all.

Dear Linda and Family,
I had the pleasure of working with Jim at Father Lacombe for many years. He was always upbeat, happy, and always had a smile on his face. He was just plain fun to be around.
My wife Mary Ann and I were sorry that we weren’t able to attend his celebration.
My thoughts and prayers are with you. Mr. Mugleston was my TA at Bishop Carroll for grades 10 and 11. He made a special effort to come to our graduation in 2004. He was a wonderful, inspirational and devoted teacher and was always so kind and caring. I was so sad to hear of his passing and he will be dearly missed. May God grant you peace at this difficult time.

Mr. Mugleston was one of my teachers at Bishop Carroll. I graduated in 2000. He was an incredible teacher and it was obvious he always loved his job.
I was able to meet him several weeks ago when he was my patient in the ER of Foothills hospital. Then last week, with much sadness, he was my patient again in the ER. It was a joy to see him again and to meet you Linda and Dean.
On behalf of all of us nurses and doctors at Foothills Emergency room….we send our thoughts and prayers with you and your family. May God give you peace at this very sad time.

I am so saddened by your loss. Jim was such a special person in our lives. His heart was so huge. My children, Jocelynn and Kenn were taught by Jim and think the world of him. He kept a watchful eye on both of them. Jocelynn especially formed such a collegiate bond with him. She so trusted his thoughts and opinions. The world has lost a beautiful man. Please accept our thoughts and prayers and know he will live endlessly in our minds.

I send this with a heavy heart. I am so sorry for your loss. Please express my sorrow to your entire family (many of them I have never met).
As a “cousin” Jim was always the life of the party and made us all feel like we were his buddies. I will never forget the impish s**t eating grin on his face.
We just lost “A GOOD ONE”.
God bless Jim and You The Family.
With heartfelt feelings and love

Dear Linda, Dean, Sheri, Christy, Neil, Kaitlyn, Sarah, Anne, Larry, Susan, Wayne, Kris, Vickey, Ray, and family, I had the great priviledge of working at Bishop Carroll High School in the 1990s. I met some really inspirational staff along the way. I can tell you that I was witness to many, many positive stories about how Jim had reached our students in a profound way. Inspirational teachers are rare, and it was my good fortune (along with many others) to share in that special community with people like him. Thank you for such a good man to touch the lives of so many. I send you my sincere condolences. May he rest in peace.
Sincerely,
Anne P. Sacco
