Obituary of BLOOD – Eugene Gene Wesley

April 18, 1930 – March 22, 2011 On Tuesday March 22, 2011, Eugene Wesley, loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle and friend passed away suddenly at the age of 80 years. Eugene worked for Calgary Transit for thirty-three years before retiring as an LRT Instructor. Eugene was active in the curling community for many years. He also enjoyed hunting, Banjo, fiddle music, gardening and all the wonderful family gatherings. He was a devoted husband, father, and friend who enjoyed life to the fullest. Eugene will be forever remembered by his children Randy (Cherill), Bonnie, Robert (Tracy) and Connie (Neil) Winder, four grandchildren; Marie (Wade) Froese, Michael, Caitlan and Kalysha, and two great grandchildren Gabriella and Zachary. Eugene is also survived by his sister Janice (Frank) Gardener and sister-in-laws Doris Blood and Pat Johnson, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and dear friends. He was predeceased by his wife of fifty-eight years Effie, as well as his brothers; Earl, Sam and Glen, Father Wes and Mother Edna.
