Obituary of McPHEDRAN – Gordon Leslie

March 25, 1955 – March 17, 2011 Gordon McPhedran beloved husband of Ellen Scogin, father of Christian and Chelsey, passed away on Thursday, March 17, 2011 after a bravely fought battle with heart disease at the age of 55 years. Gord was highly respected for his work in the Telecommunication Industry as an inventor and entrepreneur. He was an incredibly talented musician, having formed several bands through the years, most notably Nemesis, Salem and lastly, Wildcard. Gord loved to be around people. He made many dear friends and was known for his wit, sage advice and caring personality. Gord was most at home on stage, playing his guitar and singing with the band. Gord was predeceased by his father Glen on March 9, 2011. He is survived by his wife, children, mother, (Heather) and brother, (James) as well as several close friends. You will be missed dear, and always loved. A Tribute Evening will be held at Original Joe’s, Avenida Location (12100 Macleod Trail S.E.) on Saturday, April 16, 2011.
