Obituary of CHAPMAN – Gordon Ronald

May 16, 1933 – March 11, 2011 Gordon Ronald Chapman, beloved husband of Colleen of Calgary, peacefully passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the age of 77 years. Born in Toronto, ON on May 16, 1933, Gordon served in the Royal Canadian Air Force for twenty-three years. After retirement he worked for Sears and the Royal Canadian Legion Alberta Command as well as a greeter for Wal-Mart. Besides his loving wife Colleen, Gordon is also survived by his daughters, Debbie (Bill) Bradley and Tammy (Melody) Chapman; daughter-in-law Wendy Chapman; grandchildren, Brad, Kevin and Jill Chapman, and Alayne, Lisa, and Anne Bradley; sister Diane (Ken) Sanderson; brothers, John (Marilyn) Chapman and Gary (Helen) Ames. Gordon was predeceased by his son Ron Chapman; and parents Florence Sanderson and Gordon Chapman. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Tuesday, March 15, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
