Obituary of STOUTENBURG – Kathleen Dorothy Kay

October 31, 1913 – March 11, 2011 Kay Stoutenburg of Calgary, passed away on Friday, March 11, 2011 at the age of 97 years. Kay was born in St. Boniface, MB and was raised on the family homestead in Saskatchewan. The family moved from the homestead to Calgary in the 1920’s. Kay was the bookkeeper at her husband’s welding company, The Welding Shop, then continued her career at Ribtor’s, where she worked until her retirement. Kay and Garnet enjoyed travelling and the many winters they spent in Yuma, AZ. Kay is survived by her brother Norman Middleton of Calgary as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased her husband Garnet in 1987; two sisters, Ethel Pilkington and Lillian Larson; and three brothers, Jack, Frank and Eddie Middleton. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, March 19, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
