Obituary of LABELLE – Floranda Rose

June 20, 1969 – March 11, 2011 With loving family and friends by her side, Floranda Rose Bernadine Labelle was called home to be with the Creator on Friday, March 11, 2011. Rosie was born June 20, 1969 at Calgary General Hospital, and raised in Morley, where in her early years she was raised by her maternal grandparents Joe and Jessie Fox. She leaves to mourn her precious children, daughter Shaylee; sons, Jaylin and Korrin; husband Rudy; beloved mother Mary Ann; sisters, Choose (Collins) and Geraldine (Fred), Margaret, Wanda, Marcie; brother Lionel; adopted brother, Eugene (Judy) Samson; and her maternal nephews and nieces. Rosie is also survived by aunties, Harriet, Tina, Vera, Doreen, Norma, Doris, Debbie, Irene, Karen, Marilyn, Maisie (Norman), Eva; uncles Wilfred (Mary), David (Yvonne), J.R. (Pauline), Clayton, Brian, Jack, and Murray. Rosie is also survived by extended families from the Labelle, Fox, Wildman, Hunter, Poucette, Simeon, Rider, Young, and Mark families, as well as relatives from Hobbema and Tsuu T’ina. Rosie was predeceased by her father Lawrence Labelle; brothers, Barry and Orrin and sister Verena; maternal grandparents, Joe Fox, Nancy Fox, Jessie Fox; paternal grandparents, Tom and Elsie Labelle. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Mary Ann Fox (Morley, AB) today, March 15, 2011 at 6:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Morley, AB) on Thursday, March 17, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery (Morley, AB).
