Condolences
I had the pleasure of meeting and getting to know Barbara when I began working as Manager at Grace Manor. Barbara was a very eloquent lady, beautiful both inside and out. She was a very “with it” fashionable “younger” tenant. She was very smart and I shared in her love of reading, swapping books with her. Although seemingly fragile, I was amazed at her inner strength and determination. I missed her when she moved to Canmore to be nearer to her son, whom she spoke so fondly of; she was one of my favorite tenants at Grace Manor and I feel truly blessed to have known her. On behalf of our staff and residents, please accept my sincere condolences. My thoughts and prayers are with Jeff and family at this time.
Dear Jeff and Family
I had the pleasure of knowing your Mother for 5 months. Those five months were so important! She is the finest Lady I have ever met in my life. She taught me positive! I will never forget my wonder and intrigue when I entered her room. It smelled and lookd so good just like her.
She was so excited to get her new room she told me, ” This is the closest to heaven I will ever get”. I’m so happy she died with this hope and realization. I’m so happy she got the view! I will totally miss her special winks to me. I am so so sorry for your Family!
Your’s Truly,
Nancy
Hello
I work at Memorial Park Library and I knew Barbara for many years. I always enjoyed our “chats” when she was checking out her books.
Although I have not seen her for several years now, I have thought of her often and wondered how she was. I knew her health was fragile. I always thought of her as such an “elegant” lady.
Please accept my condolences on your loss.
Sincerely,
Marilyn Shaw
