Obituary of BLAIR – Geoffrey

June 27, 1952 – March 6, 2011 Geoff Blair passed away suddenly on March 6, 2011 at his home in Calgary at the age of 58 years. Geoff was born in Toronto, ON, on June 27, 1952 to his parents Marjorie and Sy Blair. He has called many places home, but has been living in Calgary for the past six years. Before Calgary he spent some time in Nanaimo, BC and Cranbrook, BC for many years. Geoff was a salesman through and through. Nothing gave Geoff more pleasure than to be out selling tires to his clients and making small talk with them about their businesses. Geoff was employed at Harper’s Tire at the time of his death. He felt most comfortable hanging around his home and enjoyed; cooking, working in his yard, and watching Sunday football. He had an amazing sense of humour, loved a good joke, and had a laugh that was contagious. Geoff made a priority to spoil his grand- dog Finnigan whenever he got the chance. Geoff leaves behind his daughter Meghan Clark and son Brett Clark of Calgary, AB. As well as his sisters; Beth Carey (Orangeville, ON), Kathy Pajunen (Calgary) and his amazing father Sy Blair who is still alive at 94 years of age in Victoria, BC. Geoff recently lost his beloved wife, Sue Blair in September 2010. He loved to be with her and felt that his main role in life was to care and look after her, which he did. Life will not be the same without Geoff around. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.
