Obituary of BOYLE – Muriel Gertrude

May 20, 1920 – March 5, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, great- grandmother, and aunt. Muriel is survived by her loving husband of thirty years, James H Boyle, her children; Richard Donnithorne of Calgary, Jan Donnithorne of Markham, ON, and Marcia DeSantis of Cape Elizabeth, ME She is also survived by her step-children; Kathleen (Leonard), Howard, Timothy, Ann (Armstrong), Mary (Phelan), and Janie (Sondergard) and her seventeen grandchildren. She also leaves to mourn her niece Christine (Merry) and family, and her youngest brother John of B.C. Muriel was predeceased by her first husband, Commander RJF Donnithorne in 1972, her sister Kathleen (Collins), and her brothers Roy, Clifford, and James. Muriel’s biggest joys in life were her family, her home and her garden. She was a “true blue” Canadian and loved her country passionately.
