Obituary of FARNEY – Donald Lee

July 9, 1932 – March 5, 2011 Don was born in Hutchinson, Kansas July 9, 1932, and passed away at the age of 78 in Calgary, Alberta March 5, 2011. Don worked in the oil patch for many years, shifted into manufacturing fire trucks, but returned to the patch where he felt he really belonged. Don was the beloved husband of Donna, father of Rhonda Lee Young and Gregory L. Farney, grandfather of Fallon and Katie Young, and Skylar and Matthew Farney, stepfather of Darcie Douglas, step-grandfather of Jack Schlosser, all of Calgary. He was predeceased by his parents, Clara and Harold Farney in 1998 and 2000, respectively.
