Obituary of WESLEY-BEAVER – Claudia

September 11, 1962 – March 2, 2011 The Wesley-Beaver family is mourning the loss of a special mother, sister, sister-in-law, grandmother, great-great-grandmother, aunt, and cousin, Claudia Wesley-Beaver. Claudia’s life was dedicated to her children and grandchildren whom she cared for very much. She received her education from Exshaw School and went on to train at Bow Valley College in Food Catering Services. She valued her cultural traditions and was involved in creating handicrafts. She was a member of the United Church. Claudia is survived by her children, Jones (Cleo), Brittany (Sylvester), Sidney, Courtney, Duran, and Calvin; adopted son McKenzie; brothers, Ambrose, Greg and Bruce (Florence); adopted sister Myrna (Benny); nine nephews; eight nieces; fifty-five grandchildren; seventeen great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by the Wesley, Bigstoney, Cecil, Twoyoungmen, Crawler, and Dixon families. Claudia was predeceased by her parents Judea (1980) and Mary (1994); brothers, Leonard (1966), Isaac (1997) and Claude (1977); sisters, Delores (1935) and Doreen (1992); nephews, Peter (1985), Leland (1993) and triplet boys (1961); nieces, Myrna, Alna (1966), Colleen (1972); and grandson Daystar Judea (2010). The family would like to apologize if they have missed anyone. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Bruce and Florence Wesley-Beaver (Morley, AB) on Saturday and Sunday, March 5 and 6, 2011. Funeral Services will be held at the Morley Gymnasium (Morley, AB) on Monday, March 7, 2011 at 12:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at Wesley Cemetery (Morley, AB).
