Obituary of KEAL – Geoffrey

March 2, 1936 – March 2, 2011 Geoff Keal, beloved husband of Gayle passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Wednesday. Geoff was born in England and immigrated to Canada in 1957 at the age of 21 years. Geoff was passionate about his work and trips to Windermere with his family and friends. He always offered to lend a helping hand and would often take over any project started to ensure it was done, and done right. He took great pleasure in seeing people happy with the end result. Geoff was a survivor and determined to tackle anything that had been thrown at him in his life. He always fought the odds and rose to the top. He was an inspiration to many. More then anything Geoff’s wishes were for all those important to him to celebrate his life by spending time with family and friends. Besides his loving wife Gayle, Geoffrey is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Don and LaVonne Keal, and his two daughters and son-in-law, Leslie Keal and Jana and Derek Koch; grandchildren, Riley, Graysen, Mackenzie and Geoffrey, siblings; Doug and Jean, and extended family and friends. The Family invite friends to gather and Celebrate Geoff’s life at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S “Fish Creek Chapel” (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at 2:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
