Obituary of MACGREGOR – Charles Kenneth

August 03, 1923 – March 1, 2011. Charles passed away at the Rockyview Hospital on Tuesday, March 1, 2011. He was born in Claresholm, Alberta and grew up in the Granum area. He started out as a farmer, but began his lifelong vocation as an entrepreneur when he moved to Lethbridge, and later resided in Calgary and Columere Park B.C. He had a dream of the “Big Deal” and was always planning his next move. He is predeceased by his devoted wife Pat, whom he met, wooed and wed in ten days; his brother, John and sister, Kay Swanson. Charles is survived by his children John (Daisy) MacGregor, Margann MacGregor and Debbie (Bob) Riddle; his grandchildren Jennifer, Vanessa, Todd, Chad, Kyle, Matthew, Michael, John, Madelaine, Kenny, Faith and great-grandson Kael. He will always be remembered for living large, dreaming larger and doing it his way. A Celebration of Charles’ Life will be held at Scarboro United Church (134 Scarboro Avenue S.W.) on Saturday, April 9, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
