Obituary of RHYASON – Bryan

January 30, 1941 – February 28, 2011 Bryan Rhyason, beloved husband of Rebecca (Becky) of Calgary, passed away on Monday, February 28, 2011 at the age of 70 years. Bryan was born in Lamont, AB and grew up in Grand Centre, AB. He graduated high school in Edmonton where he began operating Ham radio. He went on to receive certificates in Amateur Radio and Proficiency in Radio in 1963 and 1964. Bryan enjoyed his travels around the world. Bryan was baptised on September 24, 2000 and was a born again Christian. He was active at First Baptist Church and served as an usher, greeter and trustee of the church. Besides his wife Rebecca (Becky), Bryan is also survived by his son Alan Rhyason of Vancouver, BC, and daughter Darlene and her husband Younes Faraj of Calgary, AB. He is also survived by Rhea Castro and Vince Coad of Edmonton, Alfred Castro of Calgary and grandchildren Adam and Rhyan Faraj of Calgary. Mother and step-father; Eileen and John Mykitiuk; brothers and sisters; Roger (Linda) Rhyason of Cold Lake, AB, Wayne (Linda) of Sherwood Park, AB, Gordie (Audrey) of Nanaimo, BC, Sharon (Don) of Kelowna, BC, Myles (Donna) of Cold Lake, AB, Shirley (Corky) of Cold Lake, AB, Dale (Donna) of Cold Lake, Troy of Edmonton, AB, Ricky and Joyce Cameron of St. Albert, AB. Bryan was predeceased by his father Edward Thomas Rhyason and brother Randy Mykitiuk.
