Dear Robert, Donald and Joanne

I hope you can recall our past connection. Your Mom and I became friends in teaching and she did bring you with her when she came to our house a number of times. We also have a daughter, Joanne. As we were both busy teaching, raising our families, and you living up in Dalhousie and us in Lakeview, we gradually lost touch although, I often thought of her and wanted to see Marion again but couldn’t find a phone number.

I am so sorry that the reconnection comes in this way. Your Mom was a special person who lived with great dedication to her ideals. We had a valued friendship and if you should feel like calling me to tell me more about your Mom , I would appreciate it. Please accept my heartfelt concern to each one, Isobel Montgomery

My Auntie Marian and your dear mother has now passed to whatever is beyond. Thank you for the loving care that she received and the loving attention that you provided, such as birthdays and other celebrations remembered by you. I know that music remained a comfort to her to the end of her life.
