Please accept our sincere condolences from myself and my wife on the passing away of Mr. Chau Dieu Thanh.
On behalf of the Legislative Assembly and the Government of Alberta, I wish to pray for Mr. Chau Dieu Thanh in his departure for the Eternality with blessings from the Enlightened Buddha.
Leaving us, but Mr. Chau Dieu Thanh has left behind a very good legacy in the community.
Mr. Chau Dieu Thanh is well known for his community leadership, in founding the Indo-Chinese Buddhist Association of Calgary and its Buddhist Pagoda.
He has contributed in improving the quality of life for many Albertans in Calgary for Seniors and Buddhism followers.
He also helped to introduce the Buddhist culture to the Canadian Western culture by organizing the annual Vegetarian Stampede Breakfast at the Pagoda.
I also see that Mr. Chau Dieu Thanh lives on in his many descendants in Calgary and else where.
I wish to celebrate his life with his family members and friends.
