Condolences
Doris was a charter member, Sept. 1974, of the Confed Ladies Golfing. She held several executive postions over the years and was last listed on the roster in 2003. Doris always had a big smile and cheery hello for everyone. We send our condolences to all her family at this sad time.
Doris was such a friend to my mom, Jean Hardy. I will always remember Doris for her natural elegance, her grace and her sense of humour. My heartfelt sympathies to her family.
Dear Joan
How many years has it been…. 38? I saw your mom’s notice in The Calgary Herald… I would have recognized her from the picture. I am so sorry to hear about your loss and hope that you find comfort in cherished memories. I would love to reconnect with you and catch up on a few years ! I live in Calgary, and my email is jleew53@gmail.com. Thinking of you … , dancing in your basement, highschool and Banff….
Sincerely
Jeanie Leew ( nee Hutton)
Dear Joan,
I am sorry for the loss of your Mom. I have memories of her through our teenage years as a gentle and caring person.
Take good care,
Marianne
The Shepherd family of Biggar, Saskatchewan were brought up with the Facer family in Biggar. My late husband George & I were close friends thru’ the years with Clem & Myrtle. I have fond memories of going to Mesa, Ariz. (from Westbank, B.C.in the 80’s). Spending many “happy hours” with Doll & Gordon, Clem & Jane, Phil. & dancing to the ” Big Band orchestras” in Venture Out.
My Condolences to the family, I am sure you will all miss her terribly.
One day we will all meet again.
Sincerly, Irene Shepherd
