Obituary of MOL – Iman

October 8, 1925 – February 24, 2011 Iman Mol, beloved husband of Betty (formerly Ross) Mol of Calgary, passed away on Thursday February, 24, 2011 at the age of 85 years. Iman was born in Nisse, Holland. He came to Calgary in 1971 with his children, John and Anja Mol, and worked in construction. Betty and he were married in 1978 and moved to their farm in the Camrose area. After twenty-seven years, poor health caused them to move to Calgary leaving many good friends and their beloved farm behind. Iman is survived by his loving wife Betty; his son John (Linda) Mol of Armstrong, BC; his daughter Anja (Leo Maas) Mol of Holland; grandchildren, Shawn, Jan, Twan, Joere, and Dinja; three great-grandchildren; two brothers, Jan and Peter; two sisters, Marie and Jozien; Betty’s daughters, Donna Ross, Betty Anne (Siegfried) Tilsner, Barbara (Bob) Threadkell and their families. He was predeceased by a brother John Mol, and sister Francine Otte. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Crowfoot Chapel (82 Crowfoot Circle N.W.), on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. You may forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
