Obituary of BOYCHUK – John Joseph

December 11, 1924 – February 24, 2011 After a lengthy illness, we announce with sorrow the passing away of Johnny J on February 24, 2011 at Agape Hospice in Calgary at the age of 86 years. He was the beloved husband of the late G. Jean (nee Poupore). John leaves behind his children, Karen Smith Calgary, Brenda (Gerry) Martin of Cobourg, ON, Barbara (Paul) O’Brien of Airdrie, Betty (Tony) Wilds of Australia, Debra Wiles of Calgary, Brian Boychuk, and Meghan, both of Toronto, ON. He will also be missed by his sixteen grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. John loved to share his sense of humour and compassion with people, making numerous friends in the four years he lived in Alberta.
