Obituary of FLAIG – Donald Allen

December 7, 1953 – February 21, 2011 We are sad to announce the unexpected passing of Donald Allen Flaig on February 21, 2011 at the age of 57 years from heart failure. Don was born in Calgary, AB on December 7, 1953. Don was a blue collar worker throughout his life and most recently a casual employee for Maco Paving (Twenty years) and Precision Builders. Don will be greatly missed by his brothers Merv (Ruth) and Ron (Janet) his nieces and nephews; Eric, Jodi-Lee, Janelle and Travis (Allison). Don was a devoted son and caregiver of both his parents up until their passing. Don is predeceased by his mother Mary and his father Albert. He will also be missed by his many wonderful friends and neighbours who shared his joys, interests, and his passion for God, local and professional sports teams (Flames, Stampeders) and helping others in his community. Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Crescent Road Chapel (202 Crescent Road N.W.)on Friday, March 4, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Queen’s Park Cemetery.
