Obituary of KROEKER – Marian Adelaide
July 11, 1929 – February 16, 2011
Marian Adelaide Kroeker beloved wife of Nick of Calgary, passed away on Wednesday, February 16, 2011 at the age of 81 years.
Marian was born in Winnipeg, MB as the only child to parents William and Lena Condy. After high school, she worked as a secretary before marrying Nick on April 8, 1950. As an Airforce wife, she moved across Canada from base to base, before settling in Calgary in 1966. She enjoyed playing bridge, gardening and travelling, but most of all, loved spending time with her family.
Besides her loving husband of sixty years, Nick, Marian is survived by son Brian Kroeker (Maligne) of Red Deer, AB; daughter Brenda Ince (David) of Coquitlam, BC; six grandchildren, Ryan, Shannon, Chad, Beth, Richard, and Stacey; as well as by one great-grandchild Austin. She was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.
