Obituary of RIBEIRO – Juracy Elizenia

August 1, 1926 – February 15, 2011 With saddened hearts we announce that Juracy passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 15, 2011, at the age of 84. Juracy had a passion for life that kept her young at heart and she touched the hearts of all she encountered. Her gentle soul, loving nature, independent spirit, generosity and open heart was felt by all those who were blessed to know her. Juracy’s strength, perseverance and resilience will remain an inspiration within all of us. Above all, Juracy treasured her family, was a loving wife, mother, sister, and a doting grandmother. Her creative nature will live on through her grandchildren. She will be lovingly remembered by her children Margaret and husband Cleto, Winifred, Rozendo, Michelle, Andrea and husband Ron; her grandchildren Eamon and wife Jenn, Megan, Craig, Samantha, Kyle, Tyler, Ryley and Isabella, her brothers Arthur and wife Rosalia and Eustace and wife Phyllis. Juracy was predeceased by her husband Andrew Ribeiro, to whom she was married for 50 years and her brother Albert and wife Angela. Relatives and friends are invited to Prayers and Tributes at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, (10827 24 Street SW), on Friday, February 18th at 7:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Holy Spirit Catholic Church (10827 – 24th Street S.W.) on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Please wear colourful clothing as this is reflective of her bright nature.
