Obituary of DEL COL- ADLER – Lucilla Fulvia

June 13, 1957 – February 13, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Lucilla (Lucy) Del Col on Sunday, February 13, 2011 at the age of 53 years. Lucy will be remembered for her love of cooking, curling, travelling, gardening and enjoying a glass of wine with close friends. She lived life to the fullest and embraced every moment and was always proud of her Italian heritage. Lucy was born and raised in Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario and attended Carlton University in Ottawa before heading west to Alberta where she eventually called Calgary her new home in 1980. Lucy and Brendan met in 1989 and spent twenty-two wonderful years together. She will lovingly be remembered by her husband Brendan Adler; sisters, Lodella Cazabon of Calgary and Marisa Leonard (Terry) of Sault Ste. Marie; nieces, Miranda and Alexa Leonard; nephews, Eric and Patrick Cazabon; brothers-in-law Desmond (Eva) and Kevin Adler; nephew Des (Annie) and niece Heather Adler. Lucy was predeceased by her parents Anilba and Eraldo Del Col. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cecilia’s Catholic Church (321 – 90th Avenue S.E.) on Friday, February 18, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
