Obituary of HAYES – Len Allen

September 28, 1932 – February 12, 2011 Len Allen Hayes of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Len was born in Byemoor, AB on September 28, 1932. He moved to Calgary in 1955 where he worked in the BA Refinery and in construction until his retirement. Len was an active member in the Southridge Lions Club and the Ogden Seniors. Len also enjoyed watching his children and grandchildren’s school and sporting events. Len will be remembered by his family, his life-long friends, as well as his colleagues at the Southridge Lions Club and the residents and staff of the Forest Grove Care Centre. He was predeceased by his loving wife Donna of fifty-one years. A Celebration of Len’s Life will be held at the Royal Canadian Legion Ogden Branch No. 154 (2625 – 78 Avenue S.E.) on Monday, March 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
