Obituary of LEITCH – Catherine Jean

February 1, 1954 – February 11, 2011 Catherine Leitch beloved wife of Rob Leitch of Calgary, passed away on Friday, February 11, 2011 at the age of 57 years. Catherine was born in New Westminster and was raised in Maple Ridge, BC. She moved to Calgary in 1988 and married Rob on July 8, 1989. Catherine enjoyed working at Burnett, Duckworth and Palmer for the past twenty years, where she made many close, special friends. She enjoyed preparing and cooking for family and friends, golfing and took great joy in her garden. Family was very important to Catherine, especially her nieces and nephews and she will be remembered as a special aunt. Catherine is survived by her loving husband Rob, her sister Barbara Hayward (Bob Hayward), brothers Ian Cameron and Bruce Cameron, Rob’s mother Margaret Leitch, Rob’s sister Linda (Maurice) McAtamney, nieces and nephews, Christina, Bradley, Erin, Brina, Michael (Nadine) and their children Evangeline and Emmeline. She was predeceased by her parents Nan and Jock Cameron, Rob’s father Robert Leitch, and Rob’s sister Leanne Leitch. A Celebration of Catherine’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Saturday, February 19, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
