Obituary of WESTBURY – Joan Noreen

April 6, 1931 – February 8, 2011 It is with sadness we announce the passing of Joan Westbury who passed on February 8, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Joan was born in Halifax, N.S. on April 6, 1931 and lived there until 1992, and then made her home in Calgary, Alberta. Joan had a zest for life and was so proud of her six children. She loved the outdoors, especially picking blueberries. Joan will be sadly missed by all her six children; Debbie Baker (Lorraine Bridle), Paul Westbury (Cathy Westbury), Rhonda Brown (Stephen Brown), Steven Westbury (Janet Westbury), Lesley Ann Cranton (Russell Cranton), Joan Westbury (Sheldon McIntosh), fourteen grandchildren, and five great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents Harold and Mae Garrison, her husband Leslie Westbury and grandchild Corey Cranton.
