Obituary of MACKAY – Margaret Lillian

December 21, 1931– February 7, 2011 With much sorrow we announce Margaret Mackay born December 21, 1931 peacefully passed on Monday February 7, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Margaret was a dedicated Mother and wife, always giving of herself to all. Smoothing the edges of every life she touched with pride and dignity. She is survived by Six children; Christine Reddick, Bonnie Vantassel, Jeff and Maricela Ziegler, Greg Ziegler, Denise Seabrook, Brad and Rachel Mackay as well as fifteen grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, seven brothers and sisters; Alvina Rose Wamsley, Christina Lindgren, Frieda and Adolph Regal, Edna Salewski, Edward Hartz, Joyce and Helmuth Schroeder and Derik and Diane Hartz. Margaret was a very talented person i.e. sewing, crafts, cooking, renovating anything that she set her mind to doing she did!! She was giving and gentle and sometimes very persuasive in her ways. As her children she taught us to Love and respect others so in turn we could respect ourselves. To laugh and smile as much as we can, to bring the joy back to this world… and above all to love and be loved, appreciate the life that God has given us!!!! Mom would always want us to share and keep the peace between each other. She came to me in a dream, the night before her passing, radiant, restored, dignified. In her gentle voice she said “I was seeing darkness then, there was a soft light at the fringes, then color and warmth, like the dawn of the first glorious summer day. Bringing with it a great feeling of calm, of peace, quiet joy and acceptance. “Goodbye ” she said “be happy for me and yourselves as we shall meet again”. I felt a joy so powerful, overwhelmed with a great love and happiness for her. For she is at Peace … Good-bye Mom and God bless.
