Obituary of HANSELMAN – Leona

April 6, 1917 – February 7, 2011 Leona (Lee) Hanselman passed away on Monday, February 7, 2011 at the age of 93 years. Her husband, Otto Hanselman, predeceased her in 2001. Lee and Otto were long time residents of Saskatoon until their retirement. For many years Lee taught grade one students at Victoria Park School. She took great delight in the accomplishments of each child, particularly as each learned to read and write. Lee and Otto enjoyed summer residency at Waskesiu, SK. They spent winters in Casa Grande, Arizona until their final relocation to Calgary. Leona was predeceased by her two sisters and brothers-in-law, Esther (Otto) Yackel and Evelyn (Ed) Armour. She is survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Otto (Johanna) Schroeder; as well as many nieces and nephews. Funeral Services will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. with Diane Yackel (niece) presiding.
