Obituary of ANWENDER – Joseph Joe Henry

March 16, 1928 – February 7, 2011 It is with deep sadness that we announce that “Joe” passed away after a three month battle with cancer on Monday, February 7, 2011 at the at the age of 82 years. Joe was born on March 16, 1928 in Regina, SK. Joe cherished his winters in Palm Springs and his regular morning breakfasts with his special friends in Calgary. Dad/Grandpa will be dearly missed by his daughters, Debby (Phil) Jarvis and Cathie (David) Jenkins; son Michael; as well as seven grandchildren, Desiree Porrelli (Patti), Dallas and Ashley Jarvis and Jared, Reese, Austin and Caitlin Jenkins. He was predeceased by his loving wife Penny in 1973, youngest daughter Patti in 1995 and dear wife Mary in 1998. A Celebration of Joe’s Life will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Park Memorial Chapel (5008 Elbow Drive S.W.) on Friday, February 11, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Flowers gratefully declined.
