Obituary of ROY – Susan

February 20, 1918 – February 6, 2011 Susan Roy passed away peacefully early Sunday morning at the age of 92 years. Susan lived in Tuxedo Park area for over forty years. She loved to travel, having been across Canada twice, cruising around Alaska and a road trip to Texas. Her interests were cooking, sewing, walking, and going for dinners. She attended the Highland Mennonite Brethren Church and was a very generous person and devoted Christian. Susan leaves behind two daughters Sharon Harvey (Fred), Ruby Haapaned; grandchildren Dion, Valerie, Kyle, Caroline, Annette, Greg, as well as great-grandchildren; one sister Marie Zbetnoff. She was predeceased by her husband Jack Roy; son John (Butchie) Roy; three brothers Dave, Henry, and Peter; three sisters Annie, Freda, and Sarah. Service will be held in May 2011 at Highland Mennonite Brethren Church, to be announced at a later date. If friends so desire, memorial donations may be made to a charity of ones’ choice.
