Condolences
Dan and family,
I’m very sorry to come across this sad news. Deepest sympathy.
Dear Dan and Family,
I was so saddened and shocked to hear about Michelle tonite when you were in with Sid. She was such a memorable person and I always thoroughly enjoyed talking and laughing with her when she came in with one the dogs. We always talked about everything else but the dogs for most of the visit. She had such a vibrant personality. She will be truly missed by us. I am so sorry for your family’s loss.
Dear Dan and Family,
We are so saddened to hear the news of Michelle’s passing and will miss her sorely on our daily walks out to the “Rock”, with all the dogs in tow. Michelle was always such good company–kind and balanced, and so clearly devoted to her family. You have our deepest sympathy and are in our thoughts and prayers.
I am saddened and shocked to hear of Michelle’s passing. I went through school with Michelle. I shall always remember her as being a fun, outgoing and kind person. She was always smiling and full of laughter.
With heartfelt condolences to your family.
Linda Lockwood (Van Housen)
We are all very saddened to hear of Michelle’s passing! We will always remember her for her laughter and great sense of humour. Our sincere condolences to her family!!
We had not talked in years, but Michelle kept popping into my thoughts the last few months. She and I trained for half marathons together. I could never tap into that competitive spirit she had, how she loved to push me to my limit in sprints!
I will always value her thoughtfulness, sense of humor and ability to enjoy whatever is thrown at her. Michelle, I may not have told you how much I appreciated you, I hope you can feel it.
Dear Dan and Family…
I was in Africa when I heard the terrible news and on behalf of the Mooneys offer our very sincerest prayers and condolonces for all of you. I cannot fathom how devastating this loss is for your family but know your strength together will help you.
Very sincerest regards,
The Mooney Family
Don, Mazel, and family, words cannot express how sorry we are for your loss. Our sincere sympathy to all of you.
George & Carol Howden, your Mara Lake neighbours{Lakewood house on the beach}.
To the O’Reilly and Chamberlain family
Words seem so useless, especially from so far away, but our deepest condolences on the loss of Michelle. We did not know her as well as Seamus and Patricia but having met her here in Ireland we remember her as a warm, outgoing family person. We hope that you get the strength to cope with her passing knowing that she loved you all dearly and was loved by all who knew her. Life can be very short, for some more than others, but it is what you do with that life that is more important than the length of it. From what we hear, Michelle obviously packed it in and lived it to the full and you all must be so very proud of her. RIP.
From Geraldine & Des, Paddy & Nessa and Imelda & Tony and families

Please accept my condolences at this very sad time. I am lucky to have met Michelle and called her a friend. Michelle was a very special person. She was genuinely happy and always made me and anyone she met feel welcome. She will be sorely missed.
Dear Don, Mazel, Don and all of your families
Our thoughts are with you during this time of great sorrow. May the Lord help you all get through the pain and heartache.
We are so very sorry to hear about your dear Michelle. It’s been a while since I’ve seen her but I remember ‘Shelley’ as such a lively, happy, and enthusiastic girl — so likeable. You must be so proud of the incredibly productive and enriched life she has led. Michelle has such a wonderful family in all of you, and we wish you well, always.
Michelle was always a bright moment at the Kung Fu gym. Vivacious and enthusiastic with a kind word and a real concern for all the members. She will be missed.
A.W. & Paul
Our family had the great honour of being a part of Michelle’s circle of friends. We are all shocked and saddened that this young beautiful lite burns no longer, however fond memories can never dim. Kate wanted so much to come and be with her “other family” but is unable. Our heartfelt sympathy to her family…
Dan, Don & Chris…the unexpected news of Michelle’s death reached me as a shock yesterday. I pray the Lord give the family the fortitude to bear this tragic loss. May her soul rest in peace.
Peter & Julie Oganwu
Dan, Connor, Kat, Shanny, and Tom…
The world has lost a truly amazing person.
Please know that I am forever thinking of you. As you know Michelle was the big sister I never had, and I have been deeply touched by the love that she and your family have shown me through the years.
I love you all from the bottom of my heart, and can only imagine the difficulty of this time. Despite the immense distance between us, I will be there tomorrow in spirit.
Michelle was an amazing person, and I can only hope to touch as many people as she has!
Sending my love.
Kate (and Darren)
Don, Mazel, Dan and family There are no words Don that I can say that could possibly ease the pain and loss you must feel. We are so very sorry. Our thoughts and feelings are with you. Diana and Don
Dan and family,
Although I only met Michelle a few times, the times that we were together were memorable. Michelle was a person that you instantly liked with her upbeat, outgoing personality. I said to Linda, what struck me most was that she emanated ‘life’. I heard about some of their adventures and plans. Linda always spoke so highly of Michelle. I wish I could have gotten to know her better. Please accept my condolences. I know she will be missed by many.
Our deepest sympathy goes out to all of you. Although we haven’t seen Michelle since she was a child, our thoughts are with you all at this difficult time.
I was a friend of Michelle’s at Sir Winston Churchill High School… she was a very bright light! We lost touch over the years but I have very fond memories of Michelle and her infectious smile!
I would like to extend my heartfelt sympathy to all of Michelle’s loved ones (both family and friends). May you find peace in time!
Linda Wilson
Our heart felt sympathy on your loss. She was indeed a great person one of the friendliest that we have known, my wife and my daughter met her on a party at one time and she made them feel, that she has known them for a long time.
She will be missed by a lot of people.
Our prayers and thoughts for the family.

We are so sorry to hear the sad news. We both knew Michelle through GeoX and enjoyed her wonderful spirit and her ability to make others happy. The world is a poorer place without her. I know that the strength she shared with others will carry on.
To the O’Reilly extended family;
Words are simply inadequate to express our sorrow. Michelle was part of our lives for a relatively short time yet she will have a lasting impression on us. She will remain forever young in our hearts. May time quickly lessen your pain and your memories bring you constant comfort. We have all become richer for having known Michelle.
Respectfully,
Blake & Heather Chapman
Dan, Don, Mazel, Chris and your families all, our hearts and prayers are with you in your time of grief.

My name is Glenda Kemp (formerly Glenda Wenger). My family and I lived across the street from Don and Mazel and Michelle and Chris babysat for us. I was so sad to learn of Michelle’s passing. She was a beautiful young girl and from what I read, she turned into a beautiful, vibrant young woman, and a loving mother and wife. My thoughts and prayers are with you, at this time. May God comfort you all.
Warmest regards,
Glenda Kemp

I am so very sorry for your sad loss. Nothing that I can say will ever console you, or offer you the comfort you need at this time. My wife and I both taught Michelle at SAIT and she will forever be one of the shining highlights of the many students who passed through our doors. Her artistry, hardwork and creativity coupled with her infectious tenacity will be a loss to the world in which she walked.
Her life was too short and she will be remembered often by all who she came into contact with here at SAIT.
Our deepest sympathy to you and your family.
I met Michelle during our time together at SAIT and had the honour to serve with her at a few fundraising functions. Although I didn’t know her well, she left a tremendous impact on all that were around her – a large impactful and vibrant energy. My deepest sympathies to the family.
My thoughts, prayers and love are with you during this very sad time. I knew Michelle through Fusion and always appreciated her great sense of humour and wonderful infectous laughter. Her love of life, family and creation were refreshing and I certainly loved her cooking. She had a way of touching peoples lives and she certainly touched mine. Michelle will be so missed.

Dear Kathleen,
There are no words to express our heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. Although we didn’t know your mom very well, we do know how lovely and special a mom she was. We also realized her kindness toward our son Dominic… We know this “journey” is very challenging, but we are here to support you in whatever you need. May you get all the comfort and strength from your wonderful family and friends who love you so much!
Love,
Legutky’s
I will always remember your beautiful daughter Michelle and how lively and funny she was right from the time she babysat Laura at the Lake and then as a young woman with 4 kids. She had so much energy and enthusiasm. She was one of a kind!

Dawn & Gary
I work at the Edgemont Esso, and saw Michelle almost everyday for almost a year now. I heard this morning of her passing, and I was shocked. I didn’t believe it and waited all day for her to swing the door open, and say, ‘HELLO KIDDIES’. I had alot of small conversations about kids with her, as I also have 4 kids. We always related so much. She was always a good support. I know she loved her family very much, and even though you don’t know me, I send my deepest sympathy to you all.
My deepest sympathies and prayers go out to all of your families for the loss of your loved one.
We always remember Michelle’s bright smile, and her fast pace in and out of Geo-X’s office floors. Rest in peace!
Dan,
We have not seen you for a number of years but we were saddened to learn of Michelle’s passing. Please accept our condolences and know that we are thinking about you and your family. We hope to catch up with you again sometime in the near future.

Deepest condolences to all from the whole family. Nothing can take away your pain, but know that your are not alone, our prayers are with you. The following poem seemed right, perhaps it can help a bit;
Memories in the Heart
Feel no guilt in laughter, she knows how much you care
Feel no sorrow in a smile that she’s not here to share
You cannot grieve forever, she would not want you to
She’d hope that you can carry on, the way you always do
So talk about the good times and the ways you showed you cared
The days you spent together, all the happiness you shared
Let memories surround you.
A word someone may say
Will suddenly recapture a time, an hour, a day
That brings her back as clearly as though she were still here
And fills you with the feelings that she is always near
For if you keep these moments, you will never be apart
And she will live forever locked safe within your heart

Do not stand by my grave and weep.
I am not there, I do not sleep.
I am a thousand winds that blow.
I am the diamond glint of snow.
I am the sunlight on ripened grain.
I am the gentle Autumn rain.
When you wake in the morning hush, I am the swift uplifting rush.
Of quiet birds in circling flight.
I am the soft starlight at night.
Do not stand at my grave and weep.
I am not there. I do not sleep.
