Obituary of ANTICKNAP – Donald

April 23, 1932 – February 3, 2011 Don Anticknap passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at the age of 78 years. Don was born in Regina Saskatchewan and this is where he spent the majority of his life. In his earlier years he enjoyed outdoor activities such as hunting, fishing and snowmobiling. He worked hard, and after retiring from The Leader Post he moved to Calgary Alberta. The family wish to extend a special “Thank You” to the staff at Chinook Hospice. Don will remain in our thoughts and will sadly be missed. Don is survived by his partner of over twenty years, Laura Adamache; a daughter and son-in-law, Shari Anticknap and Dale Niven; his son Brett Anticknap; and his grandson Kelly Anticknap.
