Obituary of McINTYRE – Shirley Elizabeth

May 24, 1948 – February 2, 2011 Beth passed away after a battle with brain cancer. She will be lovingly remembered by her brother, Don (DJ) Clark, aunts Shirley Fulton and Betty Westerbaan, cousins Lynn Prokosch, Larry Matthew, Leslie Ziegler, Jan Smith, Rick Fulton and their families. She was predeceased by her husband Don in 1983, her mother Margaret (Hutch) Clark in 2005 and her father William Clark in 2007. Beth enjoyed many wonderful friends throughout her life and felt privileged recently to share memories with many of them. During the last three years of her life, she was reminded how many great friends she had, especially the love and devotion of her brother, DJ. Born in Calgary, Beth migrated to Edmonton with her husband Don and although she returned to Calgary, she continued to commute between the two cities. Beth was a multiple award-winning member of the advertising community, a director and past president of the Advertising Club of Edmonton and a valued member of the Edmonton Klondike Days Association. Funeral Services will be held at St. Matthew’s United Church (2039 – 26A Street S.W.) on Saturday, February 12, 2011 at 1:00 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
