Obituary of LAMBERT – Doris

March 28, 1920 – January 31 2011 Doris Lambert passed peacefully away on Monday, January 31, 2011. Doris was an active member of the Catholic faith community and a long term member of the Catholic Woman’s League. Doris played cards with her many friends with a great deal of enthusiasm. She enjoyed cooking for others, and was always ready to put a pot of fudge on when the grandchildren came to visit. Doris was grateful to the staff at Father Lacombe Centre for the care and compassion they showed while she was resident there. The Family greatly appreciates their support in allowing Doris to pass with such dignity into her next life. She will be greatly missed by her children Ray (Kelley), Dan (Deb) and Giselle. She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Doris was predeceased by her husband Fernand Lambert and her grandson Blaine Pierce. Funeral Services will be held at Father Lacombe Care Centre (332 – 146 Avenue S.E., Calgary, AB T2X 2A3) on Tuesday, February 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Graveside Service to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
