Obituary of PARKS – Doris Bernice

April 7, 1922 – January 31, 2011 Doris Parks of Calgary passed on Monday, January 31, 2011 at the age of 88 years. She was a devoted grandmother, mah- jong, bridge and golf player and active member of the Oil Wives Club. She exercised regularly, alternating aquasize classes with brisk walks to Glenmore Landing. To the end she remained a committed Vikings fan. Doris is survived by her daughter, Susan Parks, son Tom Parks, his wife, Donna Parks, and grandchildren Kate and Amy Parks. Doris was predeceased by her daughter, Nancy, in December 2010 and by her life-long partner, Tom, in 2006. Honouring Doris’ wishes, no service will be held.
