Obituary of WOLFLEG – Robert Bonney
February 25, 1944 – January 30, 2011
It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of a husband, father, brother, uncle, grandfather, great grandfather, and brother-in-law, Robert Bonnie Wolfleg.
Bonney received schooling at the Old Son School. He enjoyed track and field, hockey, boxing and hunting. He was in the rodeo circuit for many years up until his accident in 1976. He travelled to many rodeos and made many friends from many places. After his accident he picked up leather crafts and made beautiful hand made western belts for people all over the world. He had his own unique style for each belt, every belt was unique in its own way with no two being alike. He enjoyed travelling and attending Pow Wows all over. He worked with the Disability Department for a number of years and with ADSA. He loved his horses dearly. He was very religious and read the Bible every day. He enjoyed spending time with all the family. He also enjoyed listening to all types of music, oldies to new releases but country was his favourite.
Bonnie is survived by his loving wife Josephine, his loving children, Lucille, Crystal, Mike, Nicole, his gift from God Bonney Jr., Bontie Cherylene, Freda, Robert, grandchildren Mardi, Lane and numerous other grandchildren and great grandchildren, siblings, Glen, Delores, Tracy and numerous nephews and nieces.
