Obituary of BEDFORD – Joyce

June 3, 1930 – January 29, 2011 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our mother, Joyce Bedford, at the age of 80 years. Joyce was born in Folkstone, England and immigrated to Canada in the 1950’s with her beloved husband, Harry. She remained devoted to him until he passed, in January 1993. Joyce spent many happy years travelling between Toronto and Florida as a “snow bird” with her companion, Jack Watson. Her spirit and memory live on through her children, Sharon Catton (Dean), Michael (Sally), Andrew (Jane) and Timothy, and her grandchildren, Devin, Dorian, Harley, James and Matthew. Joyce had a full and happy life until Parkinson’s disease took hold. We are comforted in the belief that she is now united with our father and dance partner; they are tripping the light fantastic for eternity. Forward condolences through .
