Obituary of TRAVISS – Gerald Morris Jerry

August 20, 1933 – January 26, 2011 Following a lengthy illness, Jerry passed away early Wednesday morning at Signal Pointe Carewest with his wife and daughter by his side. He is survived by his wife of forty-four years Joan; daughter Susan Jane; as well as his sisters, Joan Innes of Lethbridge and Jean (Brian) Shields of Edmonton; brothers-in-law, Babe McAvoy of Edmonton and David (Judy) Hoeght of Calgary; sister-in-law Sharon Hoeght of Delta; as well as eleven nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Grace and Charlie Traviss; sister Judy McAvoy; brothers-in-law, Jack Innes and Jim Hoeght; and in-laws, Onagh and Louis Hoeght. Jerry’s sense of humour and kindness will always be remembered by those who knew him. A Celebration of Jerry’s Life will be held McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, February 5, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
