Obituary of MAGILL – Jessie

June 7, 1922 – January 24, 2011 It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Jessie Magill (nee Green) at the Carewest George Boyack at the age of 88 years. Jessie is survived by her daughter Bonnie Magill of Edmonton; son Barry Magill (Catherine) of Calgary; and her grandchildren, Alison, Patrick, Robyn, and Erin. She is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Margaret and Dora; and numerous nephews and nieces and their families. She was predeceased by her parents; siblings, George, Dorothy, Mary, Mabel, Victor, Ella, Douglas, and Tommy; husband James; grandson Stephen James; and nephew Brian Magill. Jessie was born in Shellbrook, Saskatchewan. After leaving the family farm, Jessie moved to Saskatoon where she met and married James Magill in 1947. In 1987, Jessie left Saskatoon to be closer to her family in Alberta. Jessie’s greatest love and interest in life was her family. She was always supportive and understanding. Jessie was much loved and will be dearly missed. Respecting Jessie’s wishes, no Funeral Service will be held. Internment will take place at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens in Saskatoon, SK.
