I was surprised and saddened to hear of Shane’s passing. Although some time had passed since we were last in contact, I’ll remember him as a spirited kid who was a close childhood friend. My thoughts go out to the whole Thompson family, with extra condolences to Mavis, from my mother Arlene.

We live in the Ferintosh community and, though we didn’t know Shane, would like to send to you our deepest sympathy. Your whole family will be remembered in thought and prayer today and in the days to come.
