Obituary of DOWNEY – Evelyn Margaret

July 21, 1929 – January 21, 2011 Evelyn (Lynn) Downey of Calgary passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Friday, January 21, 2011 at the age of 81 years. Lynn was the proud mother of three children: Katherine (Jim) Heisler of Kelowna, BC, Patti (Ken) Gordon of Calgary, AB and John (Carolyn) of Kelowna, BC. Her eight grandchildren were the pride of her life, Megan (Matt), Beth, Mark (Clair), Todd, Paige (Leeland), Jennifer (Kevin), Luke and Duncan. She is also remembered and survived by her sister May (Fred) Jessee; brothers, Jim (Sharon) Duncan, Ian (Stella) Duncan and Robert (Elsie) Duncan; as well as by brothers-in-law, Bob (Chris) Downey and Ferg (Donna) Downey. Lynn was predeceased by her beloved husband of fifty-four years James Devereaux Downey in 2005. Lynn was born in Drumheller, AB.
