Obituary of REID – Mildred

February 6, 1914 – January 19, 2011 Mildred Reid (nee Alleyn), beloved wife of the late Gordon Reid, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, January 19, 2011 at the age of 96 years, surrounded by her family. Mildred was born in Winnipeg in 1914. She moved to Calgary in 1990 to be closer to her family and lived independently until 2008. Mildred set a high standard, ever elegant, with an impeccable sense of style, until her final day. She especially cherished the time spent with her grandchildren and great grandsons. Mildred will be missed by her sons and daughters-in-law, Robert and Linda of Chemainus, BC, and David and Nina of Calgary; grandchildren, Daniel, Michael and Meaghan Reid; and great grandsons, Riley and Brandon Reid.
