Obituary of CURRIE – Kenneth Ken Alan
June 14, 1925 – January 18, 2011
Kenneth “Ken” Alan Currie passed away on Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the age of 85 years.
Ken was born in Calgary on June 14, 1925. He was with Canada Malting for over forty years. Ken was a Veteran of WWII and was stationed in England. He was a past president of the Chapelhow Royal Canadian Legion Branch No. 284 of Calgary.
Ken is survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Dean and Susan of Calgary; two daughters and sons-in-law, Teresa and Allan of Calgary and Karen and Don of Winnipeg; and three grandchildren, Christopher, Jessica and Stephen. He was predeceased by his wife Mae; and grandson Nicholas.
A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
