Obituary of JUBB – Betty Barbara

November 20, 1931 – January 16, 2011 Betty Jubb of Calgary, passed away peacefully on Sunday, January 16, 2011 at the age of 79 years. Betty was an extremely gracious lady, resilient, and a fabulous hostess and cook. She had a love of nature, gardening, children, animals and her family and friends were everything to her. As a travel agent, Betty was able to visit many parts of the world. She was a wonderful mother, relative, and friend to many, and will be sadly missed by all who knew her. Betty is survived by son Greg; daughters Avery (Bob Wickens), Megan; Grandchildren Janelle and Michael; Brother George; Niece Jen, Nephew Jack and their Families; and the Finches. Special thanks goes out to Betty’s companions, Marilyn Ekstrom, and Virginia Pettigrew who cared so much. Thank you as well to Bowview Manor for their excellent care.
