Obituary of HALFORD – Abby May

December 1, 2006 – January 6, 2011 It is with great sadness that we share the passing of our sweet Angel Abby May. After a four year battle with Mitochondrial Disease, Abby passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family. She lived life to the fullest every day with amazing strength and courage, and her spirit will be forever missed. Abby will be forever remembered by her loving parents Jennifer and Kevin, brother Ethan; grandparents, John Bertie, Shirley Edwards, Jean (Fred) Nielson, Darlene and Fred Veinotte, Florence Robertshaw, and Linda Halford; aunt Jodie (Cassie)Veinotte; uncle Jamie Veinotte; uncle Corey (Julia) Halford; and many extended family members. Abby was predeceased by her grandfathers, Sam Howard, Oran Veinotte, Jack Edwards and John Halford. Those wishing to pay their respects may do so at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY’S Fish Creek Chapel (14441 Bannister Road S.E.) on Monday, January 10, 2011 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Calgary Church of Christ (4030 Maryvale Drive N.E.) on Tuesday, January 11, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. Abby had many important people in her life and the family would like to thank them all! Special thanks goes out to Abby’s Home Care and Palliative Care Teams, the Alberta Children’s Hospital, the Rotary Flames Hospice for being incredibly caring and compassionate during Abby’s journey.
