Obituary of COUSENS – Hetty

July 25, 1920 – January 6, 2011 Hetty Cousens of Calgary, passed away suddenly in the arms of her loving daughter Sue on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at the age of 90 years. Hetty was born in Llanfair Talhairn, North Wales and immigrated to Canada to join her daughter and son-in-law. She was an active participant in the adult day program at Father Lacombe Care Centre where she made many friends and looked forward to her weekly visits. She had a tremendous passion for gardening and was an avid sports follower and loved her daily dose of Sudoku. Hetty is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sue and Martin; sister Mair; granddaughter Zoe; as well as many friends and family in North Wales. A Celebration of Hetty’s Life will be held at Father Lacombe Care Centre (332 – 146 Avenue S.E.) on Saturday, January 15, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
