Obituary of ROEBUCK– Kathleen Elaine

December 10, 1945 – January 4, 2011 It is with great sadness that the family announces the passing of Kathleen “Elaine” Roebuck on Tuesday, January 4, 2011 at the age of 65. She will be lovingly remembered by her husband, Barry, her daughters Aimee Akey Meyers and Robyn Streight (Shane), her father Clell (Mary), and her brother Harry (Betty), as well as her large extended family. Elaine was predeceased by her mother, Kathleen, and her step-daughter Carla Roebuck. Elaine was a very accomplished pianist, was actively involved in the church choir and played the organ as well. She was also very interested in the arts and served as a volunteer for Theatre Calgary. Her other passion was reading, and she had a 20-year career with the Calgary Public Library. Elaine touched many lives with her acts of generosity and kindness and her keen interest in others. She will be sadly missed by her many friends and colleagues.
