Obituary of BEARSPAW – Gino Tyson

June 2, 1975 – January 1, 2011 Gino Bearspaw, beloved companion of Tammy Whitstone of Morley, AB was called home by our Creator on January 1, 2011 at the age of 35 years. Gino was a kind, generous and caring person. He enjoyed carpentry and worked for Trumbley and Hampton. He loved all his nieces and nephews and adopted them as his brothers and sisters. Gino is survived by two sons, Jade and Keegan; a daughter Reese; and adopted sons, Brody Poucette and Matthew Whitstone. He is also survived by his sister Gwendolyn Powderface (Rod Ear); adopted sisters, Lorna, Melvandra, Jackie, Sonya, Amanda, and Fiona; adopted brothers, Malcolm Hunter, Errol Hunter and Jarrett Mark; adopted father Dale House; uncles, Lorne Rider, Del Rider and Sykes Powderface (Wanita); aunties, Christine Dixon, Ramona Wildman, Sharon Rider, and Rosemarie Rider; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was predeceased by his father Elgin Bearspaw; mother Suzanna Bearspaw; sister Adeline Bearspaw; brother Eric Bearspaw; adopted brothers, Oliver Hunter, Trevor Hunter; grandparents Harrison and Becky Powderface, Maxine Rider and Alfred A. Dixon; nephew Khalil Kootenay; and niece Jewel Kootenay. The family apologizes if we have missed anyone. Wake Services will be held at the residence of Gwendolyn Powderface (Morley, AB) on Saturday, January 8, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. Funeral Services will be held at Morley United Church (Morley, AB) on Monday, January 10, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. Graveside Service to follow at Chiniki Cemetery (Morley, AB).
