Obituary of COURT – William Bill Michael

March 18, 1933 – January 1, 2011 William “Bill” Michael Court, beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and uncle, passed away at home on the evening of Saturday, January 1, 2011 after a wonderful day filled with friendship, laughter, sharing and love with his family and friends at the age of 77 years. Bill enjoyed a long career with AGT/Telus until 1988, after which he and his wife Shirley spent the next eighteen years as snowbirds wintering in Hemet, CA. Many wonderful memories were made on the golf course at the Calgary Elks Golf and Country Club, the golf courses around Hemet, and making pancake breakfasts, dancing or playing pool at the clubhouse at the American RV Park in Hemet. Bill is survived by his loving wife of fifty-five years Shirley, sisters, Alice Winder and Dorothy Court; daughter and son-in-law, Marilyn and Gary Hayward; grandchildren, Sarah Hayward, Matt and Cheyana Hayward; and his cherished great-grandsons, Ryder and Toryn Hayward. Bill is also survived by his son and daughter-in-law, Bob and Debbie Court; granddaughter Nicole (Carlo) Cruz, their children Caitlyn and Nicholas; grandson Nathan (Rochelle) Court, their children Taya and Joshua; and numerous special nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his sister Anne Court and brother-in-law Vernon Winder. A Celebration of his Life will be held at a later date. Forward condolences through www.mcinnisandholloway.com.
