Condolences
Dear Moira and kids: I am Bruce’s cousin, Kae’s and Curt’s daughter. I’m sorry we didn’t get to know your family well, but we did know Bruce from many childhood reunions. He was one of 5 boy cousins who teased my sister and me mercilessly. We 2 being the youngest and Yankees! For the last year I’ve been sorting through many of Edna’a letters from long ago to my family. It has been a story of the boys’ upbringing. I am sorry for your loss, Bruce was wonderful guy. Dear Moira,
I was searching for Michael Shore and came across this site. How sorry I am to hear about Bruce. How much I liked him! How nice he was to me when he worked on my Peugeot car lock! How he related to me about playing tuba in a concert band! How I know he and you supported Mike in his studies and band activities at Bowness High School. Please pass my message on to Mike, an anchor in the band we were so proud of.
Shalom, Wayne Magnuson
Dear Laura and family,
I just came across this news quite by accident. I am so sorry to hear of your loss. Laura, I have very fond memories of your dad – patient and respectful, and what a great listener. You were soooo lucky to have him as a father.

Moira and family, our prayers and thoughts are with you at this very sad and difficult time. Barry and I volunteered with Bruce at the FFMS. Bruce helped me through a very difficult time at the Firefighters Museum and I will never forget him for standing with me and believing in me. The world has lost a loyal friend and great person. I pray God will help you and yours through this very difficult time.

We want to express our sincere sympathy in the passing of Bruce. We volenteered with Bruce at the Fire Fighter’s museum and always enjoyed his sense of humor and good nature. He will be sadly missed.
Dear Moira & Family—Barb Dobbie informed me yesterday of Bruce’s passing. I am so sorry to hear of his sudden passing. I will always remember Bruce for him being such a trickster at many of the great parties we all had–then when the joke was found out he would laugh so hilariously!!! Here is a quote from the book”Tuesday With Morrie” that may help you & your children through your sorrow—-” Death ends a Life not a relationship”. Many times you’ll remember fondly the relationship you had with Bruce.
My prayers are with you—- Bill
Dear Moira, Mike, Adrienne, Laura and families,
I was so sad to hear that Bruce has passed away. The Shore family was always an important part of my Bowness memories. It was so great to see Bruce when I went for walks and to have both he and Moira at my Mom’s last birthday party. My Mom thought the world of him and of course loved Edna, her shopping bag twin. Bruce offered his quiet and gentle support always when we talked on the phone or I saw him out and about I am sending prayers and thoughts to you as you begin to grieve the loss of your beloved Dad and Husband.
Sincerely, Patti Acorn

Dear Moira and Family,
My sincere condolences on Bruce’s passing. It is always so lonely to lose one’s life partner. Friends and family help and I trust that you are able to spend time with them. Do take care of yourself. Sonja
Dear Moira,
Thank you for letting us know about Bruce’s passing. Also tonight we received a telephone call from Paul Robison at supper time. The memories are flooding into my head – the good times we had as kids, the many good laughs we shared, first meeting Bruce as a grade one student, the younger brother of my friend Alan, meeting you a few years ago, etc. We are sorry to have lost a true friend. We hope that the good memories you have and the strength of your family will help you at this time.
Love and blessings
Don and Doreen
